WB: EC approves mark of indelible ink on voter's left middle finger

Election Commission gave approval to West Bengal CEO to put the mark of indelible ink on voters' left middle fingers for the by-election to the state legislative assembly.

New Delhi: The Election Commission of India on Tuesday gave approval to West Bengal Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) to put the mark of indelible ink on voters' left middle fingers for the by-election to the state legislative assembly.

ECI also mentioned that if any re-poll is announced at any polling station of the 6 Assembly segments, mark should be put on voter's left ring finger.
