Banka: Rashtriya Janata Dal leader and party's star campaigner Tejashwi Yadav on Friday lashed out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar while speaking at an election rally in Katoria and Fullidumar.
In an appeal to the voters, Tejashwi stated that they should vote for Mahagathbandhan candidate Jayprakash Narayan Yadav as the constitutional provisions and institutions were subverted and under threat in Modi regime.
Addressing the gathering, Tejashvi Yadav said that his father and former Bihar CM Lalu Prasad Yadav always fought against BJP government and communalism and it is time for his son to step in his shoes.
He also said that Nitish Kumar fooled the people of the state and compromised his authority as CM at the hands of the BJP.
The 'double-engine' government in the state is involved in crime and corruption, he added.
"I was not allowed to meet my father in Ranchi. What can be more inhuman than not letting a son meet his father?", he said alleging a conspiracy against his father.
In the Fullidumar Rally, Tejashvi Yadav said that PM Modi followed Manuwadi ideology and holds the belief that backward classes cannot prosper in life.
He also alleged that Nitish Kumar joined hands with the BJP to avoid accusations in the Srijan scam.
"I could have also become the chief minister of the state by joining hands with the BJP. But I didn't do so," he claimed.
