New Delhi: The national spokesperson of Bharatiya Janata Party, Sambit Patra addressing a press conference at BJP's headquarter said that the guru of Congress President, Rahul Gandhi and a close friend of former PM Rajiv Gandhi, Sam Pitroda's statement "Hua to hua" on 1984's Sikh riots is shocking and sad.
Sambit Patra said that it is shameful and inhuman to say on the 1984's riots in such a way, No one got justice till 2014, whereas the incident happened in 1984, the Modi government formed the SIT in 2015, after the formation of the SIT, everyone witnessed that Sajjan Kumar had to go to Tihar jail, one was sentenced to life imprisonment and one hanged till death.
"Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi should apologize to the Sikh community and Sam Pitroda should be immediately ousted from the Congress. They should accept that the 1984 genocide has done by Congress for its political advantage." Patra demanded.
In the press conference, National Secretary of the BJP, RP Singh was also there, he said that it was Rajiv Gandhi who helped the rioters in 1984 riots. Rajiv Gandhi's support was with the rioters.
In the press conference, there was also a victim of 1984's riots, who shared how her family was murdered in the riot.
