Saran: Clashes broke out between voters and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) workers at polling booth numbers 259 and 260 in Saran. Reportedly, the violence was a result of alleged proxy voting at the booths concerned.
Angry protesters also threw stones following which a car was damaged. A camera person also sustained injuries in the process.
The situation was brought under control once police reached the spot.

राजद प्रत्यासी के साथ चल रही वाहन हुई छत्रिग्रस्त मतदाता और कार्यकर्ता के हुई विवाद
जिले के दरियापुर प्रखंड के सरैया बूथ संख्या 259 तथा 260 पर अबैध रूप से वोट करने को लेकर सारण संसदीय क्षेत्र के महागठबंधन के राजद प्रत्यासी चन्द्रिका राय के कार्यकर्ता तथा स्थानीय मतदाता के वीच विवाद हो गया।जिसमे चन्द्रिका राय के साथ चल रही एक वाहन की शीशा छत्रिग्रस्त हो गया।तथा बूथ पर तैनाथ कैमरा मैन बुरी तरह घायल हो गया
।Body:पुलिस अब्जॉर्ब एडीएम एडीएम सोनपुर डीएसपी एसडीओ दरियापुर बीडीओ सीओ पहुँच घटना की जानकारी किया।घटना के सम्बन्ध में स्थानीय मतदाताओ ने राजद प्रत्यासी चन्द्रिका राय पर काफिले के साथ पहुँच बूथ पर कब्ज़ा जमाने का आरोप लगाया गया।ग्रामीणों के अनुसार विरोध करने पर राजद कार्यकर्ता तथा स्थानीय मतदाताओ के बिच विवाद हुआ
।Conclusion:घटना के सम्बन्ध में पुलिस आब्जर्बर गौरव गुप्ता ने दरियापुर थानाध्यक्ष तथा सेक्टर पदाधिकारी को घायल कैमरा मैन तथा छतिग्रस्त वाहन चालक के ब्यान पर प्राथमिकी दर्ज कराने का निर्देश दिया।
