Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Police has released a new video urging the public to comply with the lockdown regulations and abstain from playing sports outdoors in small groups.
Kerala Police has been making such short videos to create awareness on the preventive measures and precautions to check the spread of novel coronavirus. This time, Kerala-born cricketer Sanju V Samson has joined hands with the Police in passing on the message.
"During COVID lockdown, let us restrict sports and games to our homes. This is the time for precautions. Let us comply with the Government’s lockdown regulations. With utmost caution and care, we will overcome this (the pandemic),” Sanju Samson says in the video.
The video was conceived and directed by Civil Police Officer Arun B T, who works behind Kerala Police’s official Facebook page. All those who acted in the video as cricket players on the street are also policemen.
