Ranchi (Jharkhand): Preparations are in full swing for International Yoga Day on June 21 as Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be joining the programme to be held in Jharkhand on Friday.
The programme will be organised at Prabhat Tara ground. Modi will join the yoga session along with 18,000 people, including Chief Minister Raghubar Das, Ministers and senior officials of the state.
There will be 40 sectors for yoga performers and each will accommodate 400 to 800 people. Eight medical huts will also be constructed.
A Special Protection Group (SPG) will look into the security on this day. Around 4,000 security personnel of the state and para-military forces will be deployed.
The 45-min programme will begin with yoga prayer. After that different standing asanas will be performed including Tadasana, Vrikshasana, Padhastasana, Ardh-chakrasana and Trikonasana.
After this, some sitting asanas will be performed like Bhadrasana, Vajrasana, Ushtrasana, Ardh-ushtrasana, Shashkasana and so on.
The programme will get concluded with Dhyan-Sankalpa followed by Shanti-path.
According to the report, people, participating in the International Yoga Day programme, should be aware of asanas that will be performed there. For this people are being trained at different centres at Ranchi.
The theme for this year's International Yoga Day is 'Yoga For Heart.'
