Shame! Man rapes 13-yr-old daughter in Raipur, held

Father of a minor girl has been arrested by Raipur Police for raping her. The accused was a drunkard and used to beg with his daughter. The police have arrested him and a case has been registered under section 376.

Siddharth Nagar (Raipur): In a shocking incident, a man raped his own minor daughter and was arrested by the Raipur police on Tuesday.

Since the accused and his wife had a separation, his 13-year-old daughter used to live with him in Tikarapara of Siddharth Nagar area in the city. Meanwhile, the victim's mother lives separately with her two other children.

According to the police, "The accused made her daughter beg and used the collected money to buy alcohol. He also forced her to smoke and consume alcohol."

A few days back, the victim shared her ordeal with her mother and told that she was raped by her father. Her mother then approached the Kotwali police and lodged a complaint. The police have arrested the accused under section 376 and others and are probing the matter.
