Doctor Kishore Mathur of the district hospital said that the child is healthy, weighs around 3Kgs and is a transgender.
Police suspect that the mother might have discarded the newborn due to the child being transgender and hence left the child in the river.
However, the child is hale and hearty and has no other issues.
