Shamli (Uttar Pradesh): The district police have arrested four infiltrators hailing from Myanmar during a raid conducted in the Madrasa of Uttar Pradesh's Shamli on Monday.
The officials claimed that one of the intruders had already prepared documents related to the nation's citizenship, while the other three were staying as a Madrasa student.
A case has been registered against all the six accused and a search operation has been started to nab the absconded Madrasa operators in-charge for helping the intruders.
"The police got information about the existence of foreign nationals in the Madrasa after which the police conducted a raid at a house in Khusumulla Colony in Jalalabad," said police.
The officials also added that the Myanmar resident Abdul Majid, Nauman Ali, Mohammad Rizwan Khan and Furqan Hussain were arrested in the case.
The police have recovered three passports, Rs 8,030 cash, two Aadhar cards, two bank passbooks and a Pancard from the possession of the illegally occupied Myanmar nationals.
All six accused have been booked under section 1420 of the Indian Penal Code including Section 420, 467, 468, 471 of the IPC.
