"The attack on BJP's convoy in Alwar by the Indian Farmers Union leader Rakesh Tikait Ji is reprehensible, action will be taken against the culprits. BJP has been making unrestrained, undemocratic behaviour towards those who are fighting for the rights of farmers since the beginning of the peasant movement, which is shameful," Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot tweeted.
Notably, Tikait has been leading the farmers' protest against the Centre's three farm laws at the Delhi-Uttar Pradesh border for over four months now.
