Hyderabad: Twitter users across the nation have reported trouble on Thursday in accessing the microblogging site, according to outage monitoring website Downdetector. Following the disruption, Twitter said, "Profiles’ Tweets may not be loading for some of you on the web and we’re currently working on a fix. Thanks for sticking with us!" This outage isn't something new, as it was reported in April this year.
Meanwhile, Twitter apologised for the inconvenience caused and tweeted later saying, "Tweets should now be visible on profiles, but other parts of Twitter for the web may not be loading for you. We're continuing to work on getting things back to normal." However, the issue still persists.

The development assumes significance given the battle between the Centre and the American microblogging site over the latter's alleged non-compliance with the new IT rules for social media companies.
