The BJP’s national spokesperson Sambit Patra has levelled many serious allegations against Congress. Patra has said that through this toolkit, Congress wants to fulfil its political designs. Through this toolkit, the workers are being given instructions on how to work.

CONGRESS LODGES A CASE AGAINST BJP LEADERS

The Congress on Tuesday accused the BJP of preparing a 'fake toolkit' to protect the image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the corona epidemic and has lodged a complaint with the Delhi Police against BJP national president JP Nadda, BL Santosh, Smriti Irani, Sambit Patra and other leaders. In Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, cases have been lodged against the BJP leaders on behalf of the Congress leaders. A case has also been filed against the former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh by the Chhattisgarh Congress leaders.

The Congress leaders said that they would also write a letter to the management of major social media forums urging them to delete the social media accounts of these senior BJP leaders who 'spread lies'. At Tughlaq Road police station in New Delhi, a complaint was filed on behalf of Rajiv Gowda, head of the research department of the Congress party and Rohan Gupta, the head of the social media department. The party has demanded in the complaint that an FIR be lodged against these senior BJP leaders for committing 'forgery' and 'spreading lies'.

POLITICS OVER TOOLKIT IN CHHATTISGARH TOO

Former Chief Minister Raman Singh posted the alleged letter of Congress on Twitter, claiming that Congress has prepared a plan to spoil the environment of the country and that during the covid crisis, it is not ashamed to do dirty politics. In order to discredit the country before the foreign media, Congress is conspiring to propagate Kumbh and show photos of burning corpses. Instead of fighting the epidemic, Congress is trying to mislead people, the former CM of Chhattisgarh said. He also tweeted a post with the #congresstoolkitexposed hashtag.

On this issue, all BJP leaders vented their ire through tweets. The Chhattisgarh BJP has shared many hashtags on social media, calling the FIRs wrong. Hashtags like #Bhupesh_Hame_Bhi_Karo_Girftar, #Bhupesh_Mujhe Bhi Girftar_Karo are trending on social media. Many leaders have stated in their posts that everything is being done against democracy. Some have even accused the Bhupesh Singh Baghel led government of dictatorship.

CONGRESS ALSO NOT FAR BEHIND

The Congress has also accused former Chief Minister Raman Singh of trying to spoil the harmony with the help of fake documents. An NSUI leader had filed a complaint against Raman Singh and BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra at the Civil Lines police station in Raipur.

CHHATTISGARH IS ALSO MENTIONED IN THE TOOLKIT

The toolkit has one mention where it has been stated that the PM Cares Fund should be targeted. It also talks about ventilators sent from the PM Cares Fund to Punjab and Chhattisgarh, which are not useful. This is a matter of preference. The ventilators sent from the PM Care Fund are defective.

It has been written in the tool kit that such confusion should be spread. Politics has also intensified in Chhattisgarh on the matter of tool kit. The BJP is accusing the state government of not using ventilators sent by the Centre. On the other hand, the allegation of Congress, which is in power, is that the Central government has supplied faulty ventilators.

WHAT IS A TOOLKIT?

A toolkit is a digital document. It is shared via social media. The toolkit is usually prepared with an issue at its centre. Preparations and further roadmap about the issue are mentioned in the tool kit. Every update related to the issue is put in the toolkit.

The information related to the court petitions, protests related to that issue, and all other materials related to the issue and how to make it a mass movement are provided as information. The action line is also specified in the tool kit and preparations are made accordingly. Hashtags to be run on social media are also suggested.

To put it in simple terms, the tool kit is a kind of note or document, in which a whole lot of information is made available about a particular issue. This document is sent to each other through the Internet or is publicized on social media.

The information is also given about where the crowd has to gather; what slogans are to be raised and which hashtag has to be used on social media and how to take the movement forward. In this way, the toolkit issue remains a topic of discussion in Chhattisgarh presently and for many others in the country.
