Hyderabad: A 32-year-old man allegedly killed his pregnant wife after a heated argument at their residence on Saturday.
According to the police, the accused has been identified as K Vijay (32), who married the woman in 2013 and was blessed with two daughters.
The accused in an inebriated state hanged his wife with the help of a saree, after indulging in a tussle with her.
"Immediately after receiving the information we reached the spot and shifted the body to Osmania General Hospital for an autopsy," the police have said.
A case has been registered against the accused under the relevant sections of IPC and investigation is underway.
