Haridwar (Uttarakhand): Mahant Narendra Giri, the chief of Akhil Bhartiya Akhara Parishad, has been admitted to AIIMS Rishikesh as his health deteriorated after testing positive for COVID-19.

Mahant Narendra Giri tested positive for Coronavirus on April 11 and had quarantined himself in his ashram. Prior to his health condition worsening, Narendra Giri Maharaj was being treated in a private hospital in Haridwar.
However, as there was no improvement in his health condition, doctors referred him to AIIMS, Rishikesh.
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat who had met Mahant Narendra Giri recently has also tested positive for COVID-19.
