Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh): When the health workers, defence personnel are involved in tackling the deadly virus of COVID-19, a class 3 student, hailing from Loni area near here has left no stone unturned to safeguard his village with the infectious disease originated from China's Wuhan province.
Manav Kasana, 8-year-old, asserted that despite Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced to wear masks in order to prevent the virus entering in our body through the mouth, some people seem busy in mocking over the Prime Minister's call.
Later, I come to know that there are no medical shops available nearby my village. That is the main reason people here are not able to adhere to the lockdown norms, said Kasana to ETV Bharat.
"Subsequently, I requested my mom to make some masks at home, so that those who cannot afford it, can save their precious life with our little efforts", added Manav.
The 8-year-old boy further appealed to the people to stick to the lockdown guidelines in order to break the chain of the deadly pandemic.
Till now, the state has more than 2,200 cases of novel coronavirus and claims 41 lives, the state health ministry said on Friday.
