New Delhi: Rakesh Tikait, the national spokesperson of the Bharatiya Kisan Union, in a special conversation with ETV Bharat, said that the farmer movement has united the farmers across the country.
He said the farmer movement has been a resounding success, as all farmers have united as one against the government, demanding the withdrawal of the contentious farm laws, adding that the Centre will have to eventually comply with their demands.
Rakesh Tikait, the spokesperson of Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU), wearing a 'Black turban' on the occasion led the farmers to protest in a peaceful manner on the Ghazipur border.

An effigy representing the government was also burnt by the farmers, which led to a clash between the farmers and the police. The BKU spokesperson said that a group of farmers are managing the protests while the others are managing farm-related works and household chores, as they have their own commitments.
The farmer union leader said that they were protesting because the Centre was not listening to them.

With security intensified at the Singhu border, Tikait said people were expressing their support to the farmers by hoisting black flags at their homes, on their tractors or other vehicles.
The farmer leader said that the agitation would go on until the Centre repeals its three farm laws and that they have also written to the Union Agriculture Minister regarding the same.
