New Delhi: In the new cabinet of the Modi government, many new faces have got a place and many other were rested. Among those new faces is Ajay Bhatt, an MP from Nainital, Uttarakhand. The BJP MP took charge as the Union Minister of State for the first time in the Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Tourism. Bhatt in a special interview with ETV Bharat said that is brimming with confidence and does not consider the responsibility of two ministries as a challenge. He says that as a worker, his goal of doing work either for the organization or for the government is to do it well. As far as challenges are concerned, Bhatt says he's inspired by how Prime Minister Modi has taken all the challenges on his shoulders and has worked to build a better country. He further says that PM Modi works for 20 hours daily and that he prays to God to grant him the same strength as the PM.

Ajay Bhatt has been handed the responsibility of MoS in the Ministry of Defense and Tourism, and the state from where he comes has the participation in both areas. Also, Uttarakhand has been a leading state in the country in the field of tourism and in defence recruitment. In such a scenario, everyone's focus will be on Ajay Bhatt's plans for the state. "A soldier comes out of every house and today Prime Minister Modi has given a big honour to Uttarakhand. There is also a wave of happiness among the ex-servicemen and those currently serving in the army in Uttarakhand. The Chief of Defence Staff of the Indian Armed Forces and the National Security Advisor Doval also comes from Uttarakhand," says Bhatt, adding that he will definitely focus on what better can be done.

"All the newly appointed ministers have been instructed to stay in Delhi till August 15 and have been told that keeping in mind the corona epidemic, they should not go to their state and do any kind of festival or big program. All the newly appointed ministers are in probation period. Hence, they have to learn the work, get information and also participate in the Parliament session," MoS Ajay Bhatt said, adding that in PM Modi's new cabinet, special attention has been paid to the states and caste equation.

Especially those states in which assembly elections are to be held, in this regard Ajay Bhatt, who represents Uttarakhand, holds significant influence from the area and it is believed that after having been made a minister, his influence in the state will only increase further. "BJP has a special influence in the whole of Uttarakhand, which has increased with time. In the upcoming assembly elections, BJP will get more seats than before and once again the BJP government will come to power," says Bhatt.
