New Delhi: The shortage of oxygen remains persistent in the national capital. It was following the tweets made by the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister and Health Minister, that liquid medical oxygen was supplied to various hospitals.
According to the information received by the Delhi government, the availability of oxygen in various hospitals of Delhi, on Wednesday, is something like this:
Availability of oxygen in government hospitals of Delhi
Oxygen availability in private hospitals of Delhi
However, the Delhi government has maintained that there is an inadequate supply of oxygen in the national capital region and that the current stock of oxygen cylinders in many hospitals would last just a few hours, and might end by evening or late at night. So unless Delhi's oxygen quota is increased, the situation will remain the same.
It is known that the Delhi government has been demanding the Centre supply 700 metric tons of oxygen on a daily basis as the current supply is around 300 metric tons.
