New Delhi/ Ghaziabad: The condition of roads in the Ahimsa Khand area which is the Parliamentary constituency of General VK Singh (MoS for Road Transport and Highways) is in a very poor state. Residents in the locality who were fed up with the bad roads for a long time, rode a buffalo buggy, to stage their protest.

The residents say that the roads despite having been in a bad condition for years have not been relaid to date. Even, the government and administration do not pay heed to our problems, they added. There are about 25 high rise buildings in Indirapuram, in which thousands of families live.

Due to the bad roads, several accidents also took place in the area. As a result, the situation has turned into a nightmare for two-wheeler drivers to go out of their houses.

Most of the people in the area have also complained of severe back pain caused by sudden jerks and emergency breaks while driving vehicles, due to potholes or bumps.

Not just that, the dust from the bad roads has led to breathing problems in children and the elderly.
