Captain and Sidhu have publicly sparred regarding the investigation in the sacrilege issue after High Court quashed the probe report by the SIT headed by Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singh.
Recently, Sidhu had waged a war on Twitter against the Punjab Chief Minister, raising issues of the unfulfillment of promises, his quid-pro-quo with Akalis, and even questioned the probe in Sacrilege matter.
In addition to this, Congress MP Pratap Singh Bajwa has also been critical of the Chief Minister, raising questions over the Government's policies and decisions.
