New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education had cancelled the 10th and 12th class exams due to the COVID19 scare and had announced an evaluation policy to prepare the exam results. In a bid to speed up the evaluation process, CBSE said that it is providing technical support to schools in preparing the results of the class 12th examination. A tabulation portal has been prepared by the Board of Education in this regard. The total marks awarded will be based on the past performance of the school in Class 12 Board Examinations. The computation of theory marks for Class 12 will be based on performance in one or more Unit Test(s), Mid-Term, Pre-Board(s) theory examination. The result committee of the school may decide the weightage to be given to each exam based on the credibility and reliability of the assessment.

The data verification of Class X students, includes roll number, marks and passing year, which at present is being fed into the portal. Apart from this, data entry and uploading of theory marks of class XI are being done, and then the data of the students of class X will be made available. CBSE said that to save time, schools have been provided access to the tabulation portal to compile the results of class 11. After completion of the 11th class exam result, the school will be able to compile the results of the 12th internal assessment exam.

The system will also compute Class XI component (30%) and Class XII component (40%)," said Dr Antriksh Johri, Director IT, CBSE.
