BJP candidates leading in 7 LS constituencies in Delhi
New Delhi: Ahead of the counting for 2019 General Elections, security has been beefed up at the counting booths across the national captial.
The poll battle is expected to be centred around three parties: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Indian National Congress (INC) and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
In order to maintain its regime in the national capital, AAP is making great efforts to conquer the majority of the seven Lok Sabha seats.
However, Congress and AAP have a coalition at national level, at the state level, they are bitter rivals. The BJP is attempting to profit out of this situation by fielding popular candidates such as Hans Raj Hans & Gautam Gambhir.
Candidates contesting from the East Delhi seat are Atishi from AAP, Gautam Gambhir from BJP, & Arvind Singh Lovely from Congress. Congress' Ajay Maken will contest against AAP's Brijesh Goyal from New Delhi seat. AAP's Raghav Chadha will fight against Congress' Vijender Singh & BJP's Ramesh Bidhuri from the South Delhi seat. The East Delhi seat will witness Sheila Dikshit, Manoj Tiwari & AAP's Dilip Pandey.
