Chennai: The Tamil Nadu government on Saturday has announced the extension of lockdown for another week till 6 am on June 14, with lockdown curbs being relaxed in most districts.
As per the new rules, grocery, vegetable, meat and fish stalls will be allowed between 6 am to 5 pm in all districts.
The sale of vegetables, fruits and flowers on the roadside footpath will be allowed between 6 am to 5 pm.

All government offices will be permitted to function with a 30% workforce.
Rental cars, taxis and auto-rickshaws will be allowed to ply with e registration.
However, these relaxations have not been granted for 11 districts where Covid-19 cases are high -- Coimbatore, Nilgiris, Tirupur, Erode, Salem, Karur, Namakkal, Thanjavur, Thiruvarur, Nagapattinam and Mayiladuthurai.
