Karnataka Covid situation: 65 bed Covid Care Oxy-Centre set up at Shadab Shadi Mahal

A Bengaluru-based NGO in collaboration with the Karnataka government has set up a 65-bed Covid Care Oxy-Centre at the Shadab Shadi Mahal.

Bengaluru (Karnataka): Many patients have lost their lives due to inadequate oxygen supply in Karnataka. In order to overcome such a situation the Halai Memon Jamaat, the Medical Task Force, and other social organizations have jointly set up a Covid Care Oxy-Centre with 65 beds at the Shadab Shadi Mahal on Tannery Road.

Officials of the Covid Care Oxy-Centre said that the facility has been built to treat patients living in the slums in and around the Pulakeshinagar constituency.

On the occasion, Shah Hameed, President of the Medical Task Force said that this Covid Care Center is running with the collaboration of the Karnataka government, following a recommendation by the Chief Secretary, so that people will not have any difficulty in procuring oxygen.

Muhammad Asif, a social worker thanked the officials of BBMP Corporation and the leaders of all social organizations for completing this good deed and coming forward to serve the poor and needy.
