Aligarh (Uttar Pradesh): Many Covid patients are losing their lives due to inadequate oxygen supply in the district. However, Satish Kumar Gautam, the BJP MP from Aligarh claims that none are dying due to lack of oxygen and that there is no shortage of the life-saving gas.
In most cases, brokers present at the oxygen plants are also seen charging huge amount for oxygen cylinders from the relatives of Covid patients. Unable to afford oxygen cylinders, many people have also lost their lives.

The BJP MP on being questioned regarding the same said that people in need of medical oxygen can contact him using a toll-free number '9457762404' and that oxygen will definitely be provided to those in need.
He added that Coronavirus is a pandemic that can be stopped only by divine intervention and that government cannot do anything in these circumstances.
