Jamshedpur: The impact of the slowdown in the automobile sector had a major impact on Tata Motors. The company has once again announced the block closure on October 18 and 19. Whereas on Sunday, October 20, there will be a weekly holiday. Work will resume from October 21.
Block closure is being done repeatedly due to the demand for fewer vehicles. Tata Motors used to make 5,000 vehicles every day on an average, whereas now work orders of only 2,000 vehicles are coming.
Tata company used to make more than 15,000 vehicles every month. The block closure has been done for the third time in October. During this closure, 50% of the personal leave of employees will be deducted from the company.
