Hyderabad: Reliance Jio has announced a Rs 251 'Work From Home Pack' to support work from home allowed by most organisations amid the coronavirus outbreak.
The validity of this pack is 51 days and will provide 2 GB data per day. However the pack will not provide any voice call and SMS facility.
Jio has also upgraded the benefits of its 4G Data Vouchers to provide double data and additional non-Jio talktime.
With the upgrade, the 4G Data Vouchers of Rs 11, Rs 21, Rs 51 and Rs 101, now come with 800 MB, 2GB, 6GB and 12 GB of high-speed data respectively. These vouchers also bundle voice calls to non Jio numbers and offer 75, 200, 500 and 1,000 minutes respectively of outgoing talktime to any non-Jio network across the country.

The government has also advised companies to implement 'Work from Home' policy for their staff to encourage "social distancing" to curb spreading of coronavirus infections.
In an advisory on Thursday, Corporate Affairs Secretary Injeti Srinivas said the ministry is examining relaxations under the companies law that could be implemented in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak.
"All companies/LLPs are advised to implement the 'Work from Home' policy in their headquarters and field offices to the maximum extent possible, including by conduct of meetings through video conference or other electronic/ telephonic/ computerised means," he said.
