Bengaluru: Karnataka's State Bank of India (SBI) has sanctioned loans to 14,000 cases which amounts to Rs 11,000 crores. The bank has also disbursed Rs 500 Crores in state said Abhijit Mazumdar, Chief General Manager, State Bank of India.
Speaking to ETV Bharat CGM of SBI said Karnataka SBI has given 16,000 pre approved sanction letters for our customers who were under SME 1 level.
He also said that banks are giving loans only to industries who have fair grades.
"We (SBI) will not leave out any industry, but for other industries (with low grades) we need to look into specifics and right package and if needed we are ready to do restructuring and assistance will be extended," he assured.
