Chennai: Guidance Tamil Nadu, investment promotion agency of Tamil Nadu government has partnered with World Economic Forum (WEF) to establish Advanced Manufacturing HUB (AMHUB) in the state.

Guidance Tamil Nadu is the statutory body of the state government which promotes investments and facilitates single window clearance for business enterprises in the state.

AMHUB will help the manufacturers in Tamil Nadu by identifying and addressing regional opportunities brought by the Tech-enabled smart manufacturing. This includes technologies such as Automation, Artificial intelligence (AI), Cloud computing, Internet of Things (IoT) and Cyber Physical Systems (CPS) to help integrated and interconnected smart factories.

Niraj Mittal, MD and CEO of Guidance Tamil Nadu says, "this partnership with World Economic Forum, first in India and South Asia, will boost end to end manufacturing of higher-tech products and higher-value sectors in the state".
