Meet brains behind Train 18 aka Vande Bharat

New Delhi: Calling it a fruit of team work, Chennai's Integral Coach Factory's chief Mechanical Engineer Shubhranshu is one of the brains behind India's first self propelled semi high speed Train 18.

Speaking exclusively to ETV Bharat, the ICF Chief Engineer even claimed that a similar train like this will come out within few days. He added, 'we already have orders for 40 trains. We have also been asked to include sleeper berths just like Shatabdi which I hope will be out 2021.'

Shubhranshu who hails from Patna joined Indian Railways in 1985. He also travelled to Europe and U.S for teachincal collaboration.
