New Delhi: Kuldeep Kumar Sharma, Dy Manager (Press) lost his father on January 26, 2020. In spite of his immense loss, Sharma decided not to leave press area even for a minute.
Ministry of Finance said in a tweet: "Informing with regret that Shri Kuldeep Kumar Sharma, Dy Manager (Press), lost his father on 26 Jan 2020. Being on budget duty, he was on job in the lock-in. In spite of his immense loss, Sharma decided not to leave press area even for a minute."

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will be presenting country's Union Budget on 1 February. The traditional halwa ceremony was held on January 20, 2020, after which the printing of budget documents began and to maintain secrecy of the Budget, all officials in the period leading up to the presentation of the Union Budget are locked having no contact with the outside world even with their family members.
