Mumbai: Bollywood actress Urmila Matondkar joined Congress on Wednesday in presence of party's chief spokesperson Randeep Surjewala and other leaders.

The actress met Congress chief Rahul Gandhi before the official induction into the party.
According to reports, Urmila is to contest from Mumbai-North constituency.
Earlier, actor-turned-politician Jaya Prada joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in New Delhi. She was inducted into the party by BJP General Secretary Bhupendra Yadav and Rajya Sabha MP Anil Baluni.
