Chandigarh: Commenting over the HTET (Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test) 2018 exam results, Congress Legislature Party leader, Kiran Chowdhary on Wednesday said the education system is shaken to its core.
Chowdhary made the following comments on the pretext of the HTET 2018 exams held by education board in Haryana where 95% candidates failed which included mostly women.
Chowdhary accused the current government's Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme as a 'jumla'.
She went ahead to say that in reality no schools have been upgraded.
Around 3,32,366 candidates had appeared for the exams from which only 14,934 have cleared the paper.
In level I, 5.71% passed the exam while in level II, only 4.78% made it through.
Also, in level III only 2.55% candidates have passed the HTET exams.
