Narmada: The forest department of Gujarat has developed a new 'Cactus Garden' in the Narmada district. This has been done with a motive to develop the district as a tourist destination.
The garden will have 400 different variety of cacti. Special arrangements have been made for their proper growth. These cacti have been planted in the sand. Some special air coolers have also been installed for the necessary cooling.
The garden will be open to the public in the month of August next year.
Narmada district has been a centre of attraction for the tourists since the inauguration of the Statue of Unity on October 31 2018.
