Irrfan Khan's mother succumbs to death at 80

Irrfan Khan's mother Saeeda Begum died on Saturday on the first day of Ramadan. Her last rites will be performed at a cemetery, following the prayer of Asr in the evening.

Jaipur: Saeeda Begum, mother of actor Irrfan Khan, passed away on the first day of Ramadan. She took her last breath at her residence in Tonk on Saturday.

Saeeda was 80-year-old and had been suffering from illness for a long time.

Following the prayers in the evening, her corpse will be taken from her residence in Beniwal Kanta Krishna Colony in Jaipur to the cemetery for burial.

Her death news has sent waves of mourning in Tonk, a district in Rajasthan.

Due to the nationwide lockdown, owing to the coronavirus pandemic, the Piku actor Irrfan Khan isn't sure if he could attend his mother's last rites.

In other news, Yasin Khan, father of Irrfan Khan, also died a few years back.
