New Delhi: Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) leader Chirag Paswan won from Jamui Lok Sabha seat in Bihar on Friday assured that he will keep working for the development of the people.
"I thank the people of Jamui who made me win with such a huge margin. I will keep working for the development of Jamui. LJP contested on six seats in Bihar and won all six. It's a big win for NDA in Bihar," said Chirag.
Taking a jibe at Mahagathbandhan, he said that they have been routed in Bihar. Congress managed to win one seat whereas RJD, RLSP, VIP and HAM could not win even a single seat.
On being asked that people of Jamui want to see him as a minister then LJP leader said, "I don't want to comment anything on this. who gets a ministerial post and who doesn't will be decided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi."
The actor-turned-politician's victory margin is much higher than the last time, in 2014 where he won by a margin of 85, 947 votes from Jamui.
