Congress fields Kamal Nath's son from Chhindwara

The Congress on Thursday declared Nakul Nath, son of Madhya Pradesh CM Kamal Nath, as the party candidate from Chhindwara. The Congress also declared 11 other candidates for Madhya Pradesh. With this list, Congress has announced the names of 21 candidates out of 29 parliamentary seats in the state.

Bhopal: The Congress declared Nakul Nath, son of Madhya Pradesh CM Kamal Nath, as the party candidate from Chhindwara Lok Sabha constituency on Thursday.

Nakul Nath will be hoping to supersede his father who has represented Chhindwara in the Lok Sabha 10 times.

Senior Congress leader Kamal Nath, became the CM of Madhya Pradesh after Congress formed the government in the state following last year's Assembly elections.

The Congress also declared 11 other candidates for Madhya Pradesh.

The names of those candidates are: Ajay Singh from Sidhi, Prabhu Singh Thakur from Sagar, Raja Ram Tripathi from Satna, Pratap Singh Lodhi from Damoh, Govind Mujalda from Khargone, Babulal Malviya from Ujjain, Sidharth Tiwari from Rewa, Vivek Tankha from Jabalpur, Kamal Marawi from Mandla, Prahlad Tipania from Dewas, and former Minister Arun Yadav from Khandwa.
