Andhra: Boy suffocated to death in locked car

An eight-year-old boy, named Vinod, suffocated to death inside a locked car at Navy quarters in Scindia on Monday. Vinod's father works for a Lieutenant Commander. He came to clean his car and left that locking the vehicle without realising that his son was inside.

Visakhapatnam: An eight-year-old boy, named Vinod, got suffocated to death inside a locked car at Indian Navy residential area in Scindia on Monday.

Vinod's father works for a Lieutenant Commander. On Monday, he came to the officer's home and cleaned his car. However, he locked the car without realising that his son was inside.

The Police are now taking permission from the Naval official to investigate the case.

Bhaskar, an Inspector, Malakapuram Police Station, said, "Since the place where the incident took place is under Indian Navy's jurisdiction we're trying to get the permission of Naval officials to investigate the case."
