Board exam results bring ray of hope in Assam's village

14 kids from Bishnupur, an underdeveloped village of Assam's Tinsukia district, have passed the board exams with flying colours. It is to be noted that due to the unemployment and poverty, a number of youth from this village have joined proscribed militant organisation ULFA. so, this result has certainly brought a ray of hope to this village where most of the people are uneducated.

Tinsukia: Bishnupur is one of the underdeveloped villages of Upper Assam's Tinsukia district.

Due to the unemployment and poverty, a number of youth from this village have joined the proscribed militant organisation United Liberation Front of Assam(ULFA).

14 kids from Bishnupur, an underdeveloped village of Assam's Tinsukia district, have passed the board exams with flying colours.

14 ULFA(I) cadres from this village have embraced death in recent times. But recently declared state board exams results have brought a ray of hope to this village where most of the people are uneducated.

Pranali Neog, a girl from a very poor family passed with 91% marked in Class 10 Board exams. Highlighting the various problems of the Bishnupur village including health issues, Pranali said that she would study hard to become a doctor.
