New Delhi: MP from Bikaner, Rajasthan Arjun Ram Meghwal rode a bicycle on the World Bicycle Day (June 3) to his office in Udyog Bhawan.
In an exclusive interview with ETV Bharat, MP Arjun Ram Meghwal stressed on the need to reduce carbon emission and encouraged people especially the youth to ride bicycle more often.
Talking about the session, the Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises said that the Parliament is a platform to debate and the upcoming debates will be lively.
On being asked about the opposition, Arjun Meghwal said that he is expecting the opposition to play a positive role in the session.
"Modi government has been re-elected, the opposition should understand the sentiments of the people and support the government in parliamentary affairs," said Meghwal.
The first session of the 17th Lok Sabha will be held from June 17 to July 26, with the regular budget to be presented on July 5.
