BJP leader found dead, body buried in sand

BJP leader Rishabh Jain, who was missing since Thursday, was found dead in Madhya Pradesh's Jabalpur district. A case has been registered and an investigation in this regard is underway.

Jabalpur: The body of a local BJP leader, who went missing on Thursday, was found buried in sand in Bargi constituency of Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh on Saturday.

According to police, 'The End' was written on the sand from where his body was recovered.

Jain was General Secretary of BJYM Municipal Administration in Bhedhaghat. He was campaigning against illegal liquor and sand mining in the area.

He disappeared on Thursday after which the police were searching for him. The body has been sent for post-mortem.

Police have registered a case and an investigation in the matter is underway.
