Gaya: Naxals torched four vehicles engaged in road construction work in Barachatti area of Bihar's Gaya district on Thursday. Three JCBs and a tractor were set ablaze.
The driver of JCB machines said that the 10-15 Maoists attacked them. "They took me to the corner and set JCBs on fire", the driver said.
After getting the information, the police reached the spot and took stock of the incident.
The vehicles torched were engaged in the construction of road adjacent to the Jharkhand border.
This comes a day after 15 police personnel and a driver were killed in a landmine blast triggered by Naxalites in Gadchroli in Maharashtra.
