25 IAS officers and 9 PCS, including 4 DMs, transferred in U'khand

Uttarakhand government transferred 25 IAS, nine PCS officers and Four District Magistrates on Thursday, making some significant changes in the state bureaucracy.

Dehradun (Uttarakhand): In a bureaucratic rejig on Thursday, Uttarakhand government made some significant changes in the state bureaucracy by reshuffling portfolios of 25 IAS, nine PCS officers and Four District Magistrates (DM).

DM of Dehradun, Tehri, Haridwar, Champawat and Nainital were transferred by Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat led BJP government in the state.

DM S A Murugeshan, District Collector of Dehradun, has been given the responsibility of Director Incharge of Disaster Management, Audit and Project Director. Meanwhile, replacing Murugeshan, C Ravishankar has been appointed as the DM of Dehradun.

25 IAS officers and 9 PCS, including 4 DMs, transferred in U'khand

In the place of IAS Deepak Rawat, IAS Dipendra Kumar has been appointed as District Collector of Haridwar. Tehri's DM Sonika has been given the responsibility of Managing Director of SIDCUL. In her place, Additional Chief Electoral Officer V Shanmugam has been appointed as Tehri's District Magistrate.

IAS Surendra Narayan has been made the new District Magistrate of Champawat. Additional Chief Secretary Radha Rautudi has been given the responsibility of secretariat administration.

The women empowerment and child development department has been given to Saujanya. On the other hand, Bhupinder Kaur Aulakh has been appointed as Secretary of Watershed Management.

Apart from this, Secretary R Meenakshi has been entrusted with the charge of Agricultural Education, Agriculture and Agricultural Marketing. Secretary Dilip Jawalkar has been given charge of Commissioner of Garhwal Mandal Pauri. IAS Harbans Singh Chugh has been given the responsibility of the Secretary of Sugarcane and Sugar Department. Brijesh Kumar Saint has been given charge of sports and youth welfare as Secretary-in-charge.

Whereas, IAS Ranjit Kumar has been made the director-in-charge of Panchayati Raj and the Chief Project Director. IAS Baal Mayank Mishra has been made Judicial Member, Uttarakhand Revenue Council, Dehradun. IAS Himanshu Khurana has been transferred to the post of Municipal Commissioner Kashipur.
