Buxar (Bihar): In an incident eerily similar to the Telangana vet rape-murder case, a woman's charred body was found in Bihar's Buxar district on Tuesday morning.
The body of the woman was burnt after she was reportedly shot dead. It is being suspected that she was first raped before being murdered.
According to reports, the victim's family had approached the police station after she went missing on Monday. The family said that the woman went missing shortly after she was seen speaking to an unidentified man at the door of their house.
On Tuesday morning, the woman's half-burnt body was found in the Itarhi Police Station limits.
Meanwhile, the body has been sent for postmortem and further investigation into the case is currently underway.
