Srinagar: Terrorists attacked a CRPF party deployed at South Kashmir's mini secretariat on Friday.
No casualties or injuries have been reported so far. The area has been cordoned off.
Earlier on Thursday, one terrorist was killed in an encounter that broke out between terrorists and security forces in South Kashmir's Pulwama district.
The firefight started in Pulwama's Maghama after security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation on the basis of specific information about the presence of terrorists.
On the same day in another incident, a CRPF jawan was killed and his service rifle was reportedly taken away by militants during an attack in Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.
Militants shot at and injured the CRPF jawan, Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) GD Badule of 117 battalion at Kaisermulla in Budgam district, a police official said.
The jawan was taken to hospital where doctors declared him bought dead.
Sources said the militants also decamped with the jawan's service weapon, an AK assault rifle.
