Bhopal: A resident of Badegaon village in Betul district of Madhya Pradesh jumped to death from the third floor of a district hospital on Sunday, According to reports, the person was admitted to the hospital two days ago and was undergoing treatment.
The hospital authorities stated that he broke through the toilet window and made his way onto the third floor. They further said that his condition worsened during treatment and died moments later.
"We tried to talk him out of it but he did not listen. Rescue operations were being enacted when he made the sudden jump," a police official said.
The state police and hospital authorities are present at the scene.
