Patna: A scuffle broke out between the media personnel and personal security guards of Tej Pratap Yadav, RJD leader and son of Lalu Prasad.
According to sources, a reporter, who along with others wanted to get the reaction of Yadav after casting his vote, fell in front of the latter's car and injured himself.
Unable to comprehend the situation, the car's driver kept moving ahead.
In an attempt to rescue himself and draw the attention of the driver, the reporter hit the car's windscreen with his camera.
This further led to mild tensions in the area, as the bouncers allegedly manhandled the media.
Responding to the incident, Yadav defended his guards and said that his bouncers have not done anything.
"I was leaving after casting my vote when a photographer hit the windscreen of my car. I have filed an FIR in the incident. A conspiracy is being hatched to kill me," he clarified.
Earlier, he had come to cast vote at a polling booth in Salempur, Dumra.
