Kothagudam: Former Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituency (MPTC) and Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) leader Nalluri Srinivas Rao was reportedly kidnapped by the Maoists from his residence at Bestha Kotthur village in Kothagudem district late on Monday night.
According to reports, a group of 15 Maoists barged into his residence around 11pm last night and abducted him at gunpoint.
Among the group, three were carrying firearms while others were carrying sticks.
Police have confirmed the incident and the matter is currently under investigation.
