Woman gang-raped at Rajendranagar in Rangareddy district, man-hunt launched to nab accused

A woman lodged a complaint with the police stating that she was gang-raped at Rajendranagar in Rangareddy district. Based on the complaint, police launched a man-hunt to nab the accused.

Hyderabad: A woman lodged a complaint with the police stating that she was gang-raped at Rajendranagar in RangaReddy district. A case of gang-rape has been registered at Rajendranagar Police Station based on the victim's complaint. She said in her complaint that some miscreants dragged her into an auto and took her to an isolated place in Rajendra Nagar and raped her.

She stated in her complaint that they had taken her nuptial chain and some money. The police launched a man-hunt for the accused with the help of CCTV footage. Details will be revealed only after the investigation, the police said.
