New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday inaugurated 12,430 new classrooms in 240 new schools operated by the Delhi government. In an interesting proposition thereafter, the Delhi CM said that he was open to 'loaning out' key ministers such as Manish Sisodia and Satyender Jain to other state administrations in order to further their development in the concerned sectors.

"There is an education revolution taking place in Delhi", Kejriwal said, noting that he was interested in giving rise to similar institutions across the country. "Our aim is not to contest elections, but to push India towards the path of progress", he said. "If any government wants to improve their education and health system, then we will loan Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia and Health Minister Satyendar Jain to them for a few days", the Delhi CM stated, saying an all-round upgradation of schools and hospitals was one of AAP's primary targets.

Kejriwal also claimed that the Delhi government in the last seven years had built 20,000 new classrooms, adding that neither the Centre nor any state had matched the feat. Firing back at allegations of supporting separatism in Punjab, he said the statements were "laughable".

"The person who you are calling a terrorist is dedicating 12,430 new classrooms to the country. If the country has good schools, vote bank politics in the name of caste, creed, and religion will all end", Kejriwal said.
